Steel bunk bed MIKE is EN approved

This steel bunk bed has a EN-747-1/2 safety certificate. It is the same as our divisible bunk bed JOHN in many ways. The Mike is our first 100% steel bunk bed with a EN quality mark, which means that it meets all requirements in the field of safety and durability. This makes it a really durable product.

The Mike can be used as a steel bunk bed, but can also be split into 2 divan beds. Extra caps are supplied with the bed in order to give 2 single beds a neat look.

The base of the MIKE is a Trasmad base produced completely in steel and consists of strong side beams and a woven steel wire base that is supported by 7 transverse supports that make the bed extremely robust. The fact that the base is not sprung means that ‘trampoline jumping’ is not a temptation.

Advantages of steel bunk beds

When the bed is completely assembled as a bunk bed, the Mike is an extremely stable and safe bed. The high railings, the protruding ladder with robust uprights make the bed extremely safe. The bed bases can also be secured (this is compulsory in order to meet the EN standard), so that beds cannot be kicked out of their holders.

This steel bunk bed is available as standard in the sizes 80×200 and 90×200 (different sizes are possible on request). Standard sizes can be delivered from stock. All of our beds are securely packaged in strong cardboard, including manual and accessories.
